Certificate IV in Financial Services
Overview
This qualification reflects the role of more senior employees working in a financial services context, who perform duties such as: promoting customer/client service; administering financial operations and monitoring compliance; leading a team; performing duties of a supervisor; and performing duties of a senior or technical officer. This course delivers the knowledge and skills required for employment as a supervisor in the financial services industry.
Designed for
Those who have some level of autonomy and responsibility for staff including, branch manager, claims processing officer, senior accounts clerk, senior technical officer or finance sector team leader.
Course Outcomes
This course will provide participants with the knowledge and skill to:
· Apply principles of professional practice to work in the financial services industry
· Resolve customer complaints and disputes
· Establish client relationship and analyse need·
· Develop, present and negotiate client solutions
· Prepare and present information
· Prepare and analyse budgets and reports
· Evaluate and authorise payment requests
Course Structure
A total of 13 units of competency must be completed.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
A formal process for recognising skills and knowledge, RPL takes into account previous studies you may have completed as well as life and work experiences. You may be granted credits or exemptions for some units in this course.

Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a Certificate IV in Financial Services.
