Certificate III in Business Administration
Overview
This course is designed for those who already have basic administrative and computing skills and wish to improve these skills. The combination of units includes general units, finance and computing. At this level, participants are expected to solve problems, show judgment and discretion and take responsibility for their own role under limited supervision. Participants may also take limited responsibility for other employees in the workplace. An overall knowledge of administration skills will be gained and improved.
Designed for
Those who already have basic administrative and computing skills and wish to improve these skills. It is recommended for those who have completed some business studies or have some working experience.
Course Outcomes
This course will provide participants with the knowledge and skill to:
· Organise and complete work schedules
· Undertake personal skill development
· Manage schedule requirements
· Maintain business resources
· Design and produce text documents
· Model high standards of business practices
· Communicate effectively in the workplace
Course Structure
A total of 12 units of competency must be completed.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
A formal process for recognising skills and knowledge, RPL takes into account previous studies you may have completed as well as life and work experiences. You may be granted credits or exemptions for some units in this course.

Qualifications and Recognition
Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a Certificate III in Business Administration.
This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
