Certificate IV in Business Administration

Overview

This qualification is designed to provide training necessary to gain basic knowledge and skill common across all clerical and administrative roles across all industries, with some understanding of the role of a supervisor.  People who complete this course will demonstrate understanding of a broad knowledge and skill base with the capacity to apply these in a wide variety of contexts and in unpredictable situations.

Designed for

Staff who wish to advance in the administration area and gain the knowledge and skills common to clerical and administrative roles across all industries including, officer supervisor, team leaders, customer service executive officer, personal assistant, finance clerk and customer service officer.

Course Outcomes

This course will provide participants with the knowledge and skill to:

·         Maintain business technology and establish business models

·         Promote products and services and coordinate business resources in a team environment

·         Identify and analyse information from a variety of sources

·         Develop your presentation skills as well as recruitment and selection techniques

·         Develop and use complex business documentation, databases and spreadsheets

Course Structure

      A total of 10 units of competency must be completed.

 

 


Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

A formal process for recognising skills and knowledge, RPL takes into account previous studies you may have completed as well as life and work experiences. You may be granted credits or exemptions for some units in this course.

Qualifications and Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be receive a Certificate IV in Business Administration.

This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
