Overview
Frontline managers play a vital role in coordinating today’s organisations. This course is fast becoming one of the most sought after qualifications that helps individuals and organisations enhance frontline management performance. Frontline managers need a range of skills, knowledge and understanding to manage their own performance and that of others, as well as important operations relating to their work. This program is designed to recognise and upgrade the skills and knowledge of Frontline Managers.

Those who are moving into supervisory positions and want to perform well, as well as those who have developed supervisory skills on the job and want formal recognition of these skills.
Course Outcomes
This course will provide participants with the knowledge and skill to:
· Plan own work schedules, monitor and obtain feedback on work performance and developments
· Display leadership in the workplace
· Develop and maintain positive relationships in internal and external environments so that customers, suppliers and the organisation achieve planned outputs/outcomes
· Lead a team or group in the business environment by developing plans and providing leadership
· Plan, implement, monitor and record performance to achieve the business plans of the team/organisation
· Implement and monitor the organisations OHS policies, procedures and programs in the relevant work area to meet legislative requirements
· Manage the continuous improvement process in achieving the organisations objectives
· Promote the use and implementation of innovative work practices to effect change
Course Structure
A total of 8 units of competency must be completed.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
A formal process for recognising skills and knowledge, RPL takes into account previous studies you may have completed as well as life and work experiences. You may be granted credits or exemptions for some units in this course.

Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management).
This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
